Bye Bye Rummy [09 Nov 2006|11:51am]
[ mood | awake ]
[ music | The Rapture - Don Gon Do It ]

This is a goodbye to Rumsfeld.

But, I'm actually wondering why he stepped down.

Me and Piper were talking yesterday as to the reasoning as to why he stepped down from his position.  She thought that it was because the Democrats (are there really anymore of those left? Because it seems everyone has some sort of Republicanism in them).  I thought that it was because there must be so much incriminating homosexual evidence against him, that he had no other choice but to step down and possibly speed into obscurity.  This on the heels of good ol' Ted Haggard.

Haggard (just like his asshole...get it? get it? amirite?) was a bad boy.

I'm gonna miss Rumsfeld.  His perfectly parted hair, and how he would always stick to his decisions.

Who knows, maybe he was just tired of the job.

TV Sucks Nowadays [07 Nov 2006|11:39pm]

[ music | Black Sabbath - War Pigs ]

I hate TV in general, but the two shows I love are 'Heroes' and 'Dexter' and I can't watch them because I'm either working (Heroes) or I don't have the channel (Dexter).

So, here's the question, can anyone give me a recap on both?

As a word of the advice, the Borat movie, is very funny.

I like.

I saw it with my best gal, Piper, we had ourselves a grand ol' time.  We laughed, we cringed, we ate food.

Good times.

As a fan of Bowie, this is pretty awesome:

Taken from "I Guess I'm Floating":

'David Bowie will make a guest "appearance" on SpongeBob SquarePants. Mainly to please his daughter, Bowie will lend his voice to "Lord Royal Highness," a character for a special that will air next year. The Bowie Bulge was also unavailable for comment, probably because it's still busy bumping heads with Hoggle and taking Jennifer Connelly's breath away.'

P.S. Digital Life was pretty awesome.  A lot of Final Fantasy XII coverage, and a lot of Windows products, not as much Apple representation though...sucks.

Why [13 Oct 2006|12:14am]
[ mood | contemplative ]
[ music | Pavement - Love Has Scars ]

Ever notice whenever someone dies, that one person has to get up and saying something to the affect of "that's the way he/she wanted to die".  Because I'm sure said person wanted to die in a car crash, holding his innards in, just clutching for life, as his last remaining thoughts are of his loved ones.  Probably said person wanted to die drowning, grabbing his chest/lung area, grabbing for air.  Or maybe said person wanted to die with a stingray barb going through his chest.  Possibly, this said person wanted to die doing his job, away from his loving family, where he can see them for one last time, instead of the desk he's been slaving away at for years.

Yeah, I'm sure they were all happy the way they died...

[ music | L'Arc~en~Ciel - Ready Steady Go (Hydeless Version) ]

A plane crashes into a building in Midtown Manhattan around 2:45 pm, and people (these people being the NYPD) are more concerned that pitcher from the New York Yankees (Corey Lidle) was possibly in it, than the 4 people who ARE dead.

How sad that they're more concerned than the possibly-dead, than the definetly-dead.

And of course, media/news vultures immediately deemed it terrorism, because we all know how reliable they've been lately.

It's kinda funny how, that ever since these allegations rose on this hypocritical politician, he'll admit to anything and everything (things I bet he's never ever done).

Going from alcoholism (he's not a Kennedy), to homosexuality (he's trying to McGreevey himself out of it!), now to how he was molested as a child. What else is left? Blaming society.

Seriously, this guy couldn't choose any more reason to blame-shift towards any faster.

This same politician, was actually on an episode of 'America's Most Wanted', advocating stuff like "Megan's Law", and pretty much saying how disgusted he is in child molesters and how they are the dregs of society, so on and so forth.

Stupid politicians...

It's pretty funny how people always think that it's the teens that have the worst sexual deviancies, when it really these politicians and business men; the people you'd least expect.

You Are 30% Weird

Not enough to scare other people...
But sometimes you scare yourself.

Ok, when the quiz boasts "How Weird Are You?"; it can't be answered just through 10 yes and no questions....
That quiz was offensive.

You May Be a Bit Borderline...

Your mood swings make a roller coaster look tame!
When you're up, you're a little bit crazy...
And when you're down, your whole world is crashing
Scary thing is, these moods can change by the minute!

Mood swings?

You Have Good Karma

In general, you like to do the right thing when it comes to others.
Your caring personality really shines through.
Sure, you have your moments of weakness - and occasionally act out.
But, all in all, you're karma is good... even with those few dark spots.

Run DMC rapper loses child at birth

A rapper's wife gave birth yesterday, but the scene quickly turned to tragedy after the newborn was pronounced dead, TMZ.com reports.

Rev. Run, whose real name is Joseph Simmons, shocked fans last year when he announced that his wife Justine was pregnant on his MTV reality show "Rev's House."

Justine's pregnancy was the cliffhanger on the MTV show last season. It generated intense interest among viewers who have been anxiously following the pregnancy and awaiting the birth.

Simmons, a member of the legendary rap group Run DMC, was at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J., yesterday for the birth of his child. Doctors delivered the baby via Caesarean section, revealing a cruel twist of fate - the baby was born with organs outside the body. The newborn died a short time later.

TMZ has learned that MTV cameras were inside the hospital at the time of the birth, though it is not known if they were in the delivery room.

That's pretty fucked up.

Wonder if there were any pictures.

For all Playstation 2 owners, I demand that you buy a copy of Okami.

It is unbelievably good, I can not stop playing it since I bought it last Wednesday.  Awesome concept, good graphics (one of the highlights of the game), great concept, and captivating music.

One word to sum up this game: Orgasmic.

This game will keep me occupied til Final Fantasy XII (which is supposedly October 31, but that's a long time, even for me, because my ADD doesn't allow me to keep my attention that focused for that long), because there's some much stuff to unlock and find.

And I'm sure there are many a person who is sick and tired of my prefacing this.

That's about it on my end.

Pips, if your still up for Friday at Barona, drop me a call, myspace me or leave some sort of communique.

P.S. Nothing better doing a little bit of male adjustment in public.

I don't know, you guys be the judge of it:

Is it that noticeable? And does it really make me look that much more younger.

Can We Stop With This? [06 Sep 2006|01:09pm]
[ mood | aggravated ]
[ music | Opie & Anthony - 09-05-2006 ]

Holy shit, I'm sick and tired of all this Steve Irwin stuff.

Enough.

People die every day due to gunshots, cancer, getting hit by cars and other stuff, tobacco and not much of an cry for these victims is uttered.  And yet, people are all up an' arms about some animal lover going around and pissing animals off and being all voyeuristic about it.

Boo hoo, he's dead, so what?

Fucking enough already.

I think I'm the only one who isn't jumping on this 'Sad For Steve Irwin' bandwagon.

For god sakes, more people have died because vending machines have fell on them, and now people are makin a hooplah about sting rays.  Since the beginning of ever, 17 (now 18) people have died because of these 'terrors of the sea'.
